    @shiney and @"M" sorry about misspelling Ozzy's name- I didn't think he would be upset about it but that's just me underestimating the sensitivity of our furred friends :heehee:

    It is up to 33f at the moment. It won't be long before it's warm enough out there for my fingers to operate properly. Need to be playing with nuts and bolts and don't wish to fumble them all over. I shall be squaring up and levelling the last of the greenhouses. Then it will be installing the rest of the ceiling fans. We are expecting to reach 52f today and tomorrow we will back to Canadian style wintery conditions therefore I must get this work done today :) and maybe also work off some of the fudge I had for dessert this morning :whistle:

        Aloha everyone,

        They've forecast heavy rain today so I may swap over my schedule a bit and go and do some shopping. :)

        I got a phone call from Barry yesterday saying he has received a 20 page document from the Council about his benefits, rent, council tax and how they've calculated it :doh:. So I need to collect all that plus details of what benefits he receives and what assets he has. He says he thinks that the sums that they say he has in his building society accounts is nothing like the actual figures - although he delivered those to them last March. They say that they have calculated things on last year's figures - but they haven't. So I'll have a lot of reading to do before I write a letter for him. The other year they said he had £7,000 of shares (issued by Lloyds when the government bailed the out) and when I checked them it was £70.00 :wallbanging:. They wouldn't take any notice of me until I told them that I was going to publicise how incompetent they were. :whistle: :heehee:

            Morning early people :)

            Been chucking it down all night, still raining but not so heavy.

            Wont get much done in the garden in this so might have to go to the garden centre instead :whistle:

              My day off today, I've got an exciting morning lined up :heehee: - off into town for a check-up at the dentist, pop in to the barbers for a haircut on the way back, then I might mow the lawn when I get home, if the rain holds off long enough. :biggrin:

                Hi @moyra I can keep dry and well as I can but keeping warm is another story as my boiler has broken down:smile:

                I grew up without central heating and used to say its no good to anyone,but golly do I miss it now and they cant't replace it until tomorrow afternoon:heehee:

                          @wiseowl I hope your boiler is fixed pronto. Made me shiver just reading that.

                          We are well below freezing again today and I am so glad that I got loads of work accomplished outside yesterday. I had a problem with one of the ceiling fans last night so need to repair that today and since it is sunny, it will be lovely and warm in the greenhouse :)
