We just call it LlanfairPG up here, too much of a mouthful to say the whole name :loll:. Funnily enough I was looking at a cottage advertised on Rightmove in Llannerch - y - Medd a couple of days ago and we wondered if it might have an illegal hole too :loll:. Its definitely something I shall have to consider if I make any future house purchases.

I keep looking at houses in Wales on Right Move while I have nothing better to do as they seem to be the only ones that have land with them so have seen some nice ones on Anglesey. There are a couple of Caravan Club sites on the island and we keep saying we ought to have a holiday over there. We stayed in Snowdonia a couple of years ago so had a little drive out one afternoon and ended up at that station so had to take some photos of it:biggrin:

Are you Welsh and been on Anglesey all your life or are you from another part of the UK?

I'm looking on Rightmove a lot at the moment too as still thinking about moving.

There are indeed some lovely properties for sale here. Which part of the Island would you like to live if you could House prices are still good compared to other parts of the UK. I moved here from South Wales 5 1/2 years ago.

There are quite a few caravan parks around ( Penrhyn and Sandy Beach caravan parks are a mile away from us ). Anglesey is the most stunningly beautiful, amazing place to live :wow: You really should plan a holiday if you get the chance. You won't be disappointed :).

So today whilst digging an exploratory pit to discover how far the rubble field extends I hit slate and uncovered this
          IMG_20170430_1605591_rewind.jpg

Looks like a path, but difficult to be sure with so much rubble everywhere. Accidentally disturbed a Toad whilst digging:sad:. Had no idea it was there. Considering Plan C now :snorky:
