@shiney I've just ordered the Wet&Forget.....today the weather is not wet and I did not forget to order it! Yay! All jobs done so far this morning. It is a lovely day so I am going to head up to the allotment and give it a good tidy up...I'd better take the wheelbarrow with me. And maybe even a flask as it is a little chilly!!!

Sunny and warm here. Very windy though. I finally got everything together I needed to plant my bulbs in the front. I have no idea what's been planted where. I guess that's the fun of it. I'm sure I will find out soon enough.

After lunch I will cover the whole thing with bark chippings. That will be another job done. :pathd:

Just weeded all but one of the allotment beds, harvested another two red cabbages and all the carrots. Got a pile of little carrots and cabbage leaves etc for the neighbours piggy wigs.

Really impressed with the carrot harvest considering they were just broadcast sown and left to their own devices. Wondering how to store them all!!

Not to self. In future, remember to check wind direction before using a hose pipe. :doh:It's not so bad in the summer as wet clothes dry out quickly. It's not warm enough for that here any more.

Earlier this year I invested I new hose pipe. I am rubbish at estimating dimensions so my previous hose pipe was way shorter than I wanted it to be. It would just about reach around the car ok but it was not long enough to use in the back garden. I can safely say my latest incarnation is definitely long enough. In fact I think it could possible go all the away around the perimeter of my garden and still have some left over. :snorky:

As I've been completing jobs in the garden I've been watering everything. Literally. I don't think I would be exaggerating if I were to say that my garden has been watered more times in the last few months than it has in the last 12 years added together.

                        :Wino:

Cut the grass three times in the new build today....very, very long and very wet and, ideally I should have waited til it dried out a little. Anyway my cordless bosch mower coped admirably .
Just cut my own lawns too as soon as I got back.
I now have a few more ideas for the new build garden incl a couple of climbers for the fences.
Looks like a few more dry days to come so, hopefully, I will have time to move a couple of perennials.:)
Snorky, cant beat home grown carrots......mine all gone now. I seem to live on them in the summer:). You can store carrots in dry sand....even dry mpc.:)

This year is the first time in almost 5 years that I have been able to walk in the front garden:hate-shocked:. I got some piccies somewhere. Looking forward to your progress updates :) sure it will be wonderful when finished.:)

No gardening today just lots of running about doing things I didn't want to be doing. Weather has turned chilly and grey with the promise of rain to come. The Snowdonia mountains are very clear today, always a prelude to bad weather.

I am so behind on everything, just can't seem to catch up. Does anyone know if it's too late for planting Anemone Blanda bulbs ? I read early- mid September and got as far as soaking them a few nights ago. I'm guessing they might grow but not flower?
