Good Morning all. Still not getting the benefit of the extra hour, unfortunately, Amber doesn't know about BST/GMT. I was hoping I could introduce her to GMT more slowly but she is only interested in what her internal clock says.
Still it was nice walking her out early, she is crashed out now. Her other doggy friends were also out and about early so she is not alone.

Good day all. its late for you. Noon here. doing some "work" for office at home. Also, just re potted my office plant, while the leaves are flying about. needed a bigger pot. will take it in today as I have to move on moving plants inside soon. Its the Queens tears, that I just fussed with. should give us 20 blooms this January. Should try to get on this site more often. as this is just now Autumn, and you all on on page 30 of this thread. wow. ok, then.

Here we are Halloween and I am reading the newspapers whilst listening to the miniseries "The Stand" playing on the television. It is a little eerie because someone here asked me, just yesterday, if I had read this Stephen King offering. Really gets you in the mood for spooky things.
On commercial breaks I will start placing out my decorations. I have a few animated and talking pumpkins that always fascinate the little ones. We only get about 40 or 50 kids so I usually give each one 2-3 of the treats. Lots of fun

Good morning. My large basket is loaded with Snicker bars. will sweep the stoop from leaves later. but off to work. the kids to arrive at 6PM to relieve me of the calories.

No Halloween antics in the land of "M" this year - I got home from work too late! Where I live, the "tradition" is: if the house is decorated, it is ok to call; if the house is not decorated, do not participate! Which I think is a great 'rule of thumb' when it comes to both the Trick O' Treaters *and* the peace of the householders Last year, I decorated It was fun! This year, I bought the Treats, but then, changed jobs Ah well, Mr "M" does have a sweet tooth and I'm sure he is not disappointed that I didn't decorate this year

@moyra - Amber will be dictated by her body clock and the daylight hours Putting the clocks *back* means it is now lighter, earlier! That is why she is chomping at the bit to go outside nice-and-early!!! Not great for you, I understand that; but, for Amber it is like Whhheeeeeeeeee! Let's get *out* there!!!! She'll recalibrate when the mornings get lighter later

I'm a tad on the tired side now, was up at 5 for an appointment at 8am quite some miles away and still had the Oz to walk somewhere between the two! Delighted to report that I achieved everything I set out to do today (yes, that includes you Ozzy! ) but, I'm fair pooped now. Thankfully, tomorrow is my day off except ... ... I'll be playing laundry/housework/cooking catchup Loving being busy though!
