We observe a silence on the 11th no matter which day of the week it is.
The National Ceremony is on "Remembrance Sunday" (the nearest Sunday to the 11th) with a parade of veterans, military bands, wreath laying at the Cenotaph

Good day everyone
I'm late posting here as I elected to get started on some work before playing a little. Plus I had entered a p.m. to someone and then an hour and a half later realized that I had forgot to hit the "post reply" option- I seem to do that at least once a month

We are having a grey day. It was supposed to be a nice sunny day which is pleasant when working near a window however I need to take my Aunt for some diagnostics today and as everyone knows, a brief appointment at the hospital amounts to at least half of day of sitting and waiting and paying for expensive parking. So, at least a sunny day won't be wasted too

I hope everyone has a day that is pleasant and plays safe

 

Just back from a lovely long weekend away, missed seeing our first very hard frost, thankfully all was well cared for in the gardens so no fatalities thank the lord for good friends

Wednesday. Morning all. Same ol stuff. off to work soon, making sure "proper" paperwork is in charts, and completed by staff properly (my work is never done) will be roaming around beautiful country roads to get to various offices, enjoying the autumn tree colors. good thing, on the roads I am on, hardly any traffic. Might stop by an treat myself to a nice lunch along the way. Have a good day.
