I love them all, Freddy. In a good year you can smell the blossom 25 yards away, and now that the Seasons seem to be blurring you shouldn't be surprised if they flower earlier than Spring and then repeat flowering during the year,:coffee::snorky: Don't worry if some of the plant's leaves turn brown during the year as new leaves will grow in place.

Just thought I’d update this thread. This is how it looks now, after a long break. It took a while to save up the funds for the composite decking. Putting together the trellis is time consuming, but getting there.

If you’re looking in @ARMANDII , I hope you approve

Oh yes, should have mentioned, ‘Enham Star’ has just finished flowering, and I must say it was spectacular. Should have taken a pic  As our ‘Mandy’ said, the scent was very strong.

It's looking good Freddy and will look even better when the Clematis matures. :dbgrtmb:

Thanks:thumbsup: Finished the trellis today. I still have to construct a ‘roof’ and step. You may just be able to make out where the Clematis is, if you look through to the left. On the right, there’s a Wisteria that I need to cut back to some low buds. At the front there’s a Rose, ‘Golden Showers’ and I have another Clematis (I forget the name) that will be planted shortly next to the rose. It’ll probably take a couple of years, but I’m hoping it’ll look good :)

Yes, I can just about see those. As you say in a couple of years it will look good and will disguise the trellis. :)
