    If you're asking me about the Justicia then it's not ideal for the British climate but not hard. It is winter blooming and need a frost free and sheltered position. Cool produces the best results. I grow it in a pot so if it does get arctic it can go into the garage.
    Give it a couple of weeks and it will be stunning!

        No. But apparently they are easy from seed and the best material for cuttings is the flower stem.

          Hmmm, sounds interesting. :) I like Lewisia and with the remains of a boundary stone wall here I'm thinking they might do well growing there. I'm surprised though that the flower stems are used for cuttings. Would that be with flowers removed?

          No. Remove the flowers and they have no reason to exist so leave them on.

            Thanks for the info Longk. I'd like to give it a go but I'll need some starter plants first, so a visit to a local small nursery very soon. :)

              Too excited. A couple of my Bhut Jolokia seeds are launched. Only .. 2 weeks instead of the normal 3 ,,,,
