What should I be doing to help these two plants?

My silver artemisia is growing a bald patch and with yellow straggly leaves it doesn't look very healthy. Should I be doing anything to help it? Similarly the new buds on my lisarose have all dried up. What should I be doing to help it?

Simply cut those stems on artemisia back to the base DominiH. They will regenerate beautifully. Mine have been cut back but if you’re expecting frosty nights still then delay for a week or two. . :)

Once the frosts have finished in your area, take your courage in both hands and chop the Artemisia hard back, preferably to small shoots emerging from the stems. It will rejuvenate the plant and give you lots of cuttings. They root very easily in a sandy compost mix or sandy soil.
Can't help with the lisarose, I'm afraid. I've never heard of it!

Yes, that's right. The flowers never opened though. They just shrivelled after planting.
