Wow! That's a shed and a half FC! :dbgrtmb: It looks well made and solid, I bet you're over the moon. :)

Will you have to coat it?

I must admit, I am chuffed to bits with it @Sheal - I left my wallet in my 'garden' jacket last night, which was in the shed, so this morning I just popped out, wandered into the shed to retrieve it, and back in within seconds - no mushy stuff underfoot, no fighting with doors.... bliss.

I lost a lot of tools because of the other blighter - only just tonight I have tried to resurrect my strimmer, but that is gone, I tossed loads of screwdrivers, socket bits, ratchets and even my good secateurs are rusted to hell.

It is pressure treated, so apparently you don't have to coat it, but I have a feeling it will get something in a year or so time.

I bet it smells nice in there too. I love the smell of new wood. :)

It's a real shame you've lost so many tools. Are there any boot sales held near you? They're always good for picking them up.

You said Mrs FC wanted lights outside, has she won the debate on that? :)

It smells lovely - I thought I was the only one that liked the smell of wood

I fitted the light inside yesterday, and then repaired the handlebars on the old exercise bike and gave it a clean up (it was destined for the tip before I took ill!), and it is now in 'physio corner' along with the stepper which was a huge part of me getting back walking again. I do need to fix one of the pedal straps on the exercise bike, but that should be doable with some JB Weld.

Here is physio corner and the light:

If you look carefully you will see that I was able to make a very narrow shelf out of scraps of wood for the radio to sit on, and for a multiplug adapter underneath for anything (radio, drill charger, lights) to plug into - all we do is run the extension lead (yellow in the photo) into the the shed through the window and plug the multiplug adapter into that and off we go. :)

Oh, and the lights outside - yes, I sort of caved in on those too (well, I know what is good for me!)

Mrs C had an Amazon voucher from her birthday, and I had some from my birthday so we have had a wee shop or two on there over the past few days. Parcel one was the lights which arrived on Saturday, they were installed this evening, and pics will follow - just wee £20 battery solar things with a PIR, but so far they seem to work well. I blew the last of the vouchers tonight on a new Black & Decker strimmer, and a nice pair of Felco Model 8 secateurs.

I have an idea for that blank wall in front of your exercise bike. :) Assuming you have a milometer on the bike you could attach a map of Britain to the wall and pin point cycling all round the country.

Good idea @Sheal, only most of that blank wall is actually a door.....

Even Little Controller has been out there pedaling away, so at least it is being used by everyone, and that can only be good. Quite remarkable the difference a good shed, a bit of organised (and dry!) space can offer. The only thing that hasn't happened yet is a rain test.

Oops! Well it was only a thought. :)

Hmmm, you could be waiting some while for that rain if the recent long range forecast is to be believed. Mainly dry until next Autumn and temperatures rising next week.

                              Lights!

This one shows the left light having gone into its standby dim mode, they then come on fully bright like the right one (or above) when the sensor sees you.

And this shows how small the wee things are - not bad for around £20 to be fair, especially as they are metal bodied.
