As some plants are already going over others are getting fuller blooms or just getting going.

The Wisteria 'waterfall' has just come out this week just before we go away so at least we have a few days to appreciate it.

Our "lollypop acer" in our small font garden.
Each winter, I prune up to a foot off it all round, to restrict its growth and to keep its shape. It's about 20 ft tall.
It didn't go very pink this year, but there's blossom on it already.

                  P1020623.JPG

It's been here since I moved it from the back garden in 1987, when I was building our tea-house, as it was in the way. It was right where I intend putting the steps.
                  It survived being moved mid-summer.

Two of our six wisterias, on the pergola on the back of the house. They meet in the middle.
