Aaaaaand this is why I try to avoid garden centres, spend far too much money and buy more plants than I can handle, LOL! I let the bees pick the salvia and hebe for me! From left to right: Perovskia 'Blue Spire', Hebe 'Champagne Ice', Salvia 'Blue Marvel', Orange-scented thyme plus 'Doone Valley' and barely visible behind the thymes, Achillea 'Colorado'. Couple of busy days in the garden I think, still haven't planted my sweet violets!

@Verdun, the way I'm going I'll probably be thinking that just before I end up starving mate, "well, at least I have some nice plants!" :lunapic 130165696578242 5: This hobby of ours can end up being a bit of an obsession! Is there a Gardener's Anonymous I can contact?

I have just a couple of antirrhinum pots. I intend to plant them in my sunny border with my geum/succulents. Is there anything I need to know?

            Thanks.

Not really Gary.....make sure they aren’t rootbound or dry at the roots as is likely at this time of year.
Soak for 20 mins or so, tease or scratch the roots out and plant away :)

@CanadianLori thanks. A sindial sounds really interesting.

Oops, typos are the disadvantage of digital keyboards when you're built like an amazon. :heehee:

When I was a kid I remember being taught how to make one with twigs and a stick. Always wanted a fancy one. I wouldn't want anything too large as changing the orientation when daylight saving happens and reverse could be a challenge with those big brass 70 kilo jobbies!
