My cordaline flowered earlier this year and is now going to flower again.
    Very odd.
It's never done this in the past. 20191022_143612_Burst01.jpg

Cheating a bit - they're in my greenhouse. Double nerium from @noisette47 cutting (thank you!) and datura/brug from Lidl. @pete - how do the pawpaws taste? And is it a self fertile variety or do you have more than one?

Not much colour left in the garden but this is the time that the variegated and golden evergreens contrast well with the greens. I'll have to try and get a few shots of them.

Some of the fronds of the grasses are only just unfurling

The golden variegated Euonymous in the centre of the picture is going to have to go. :noidea: It runs about 30ft to the left so we shall remove some of it as it's crowding other plants. That little section has only grown there in the last two years or so should be fairly easy to lift (hopefully to pot up for sale) but the next section we want to remove is about 5ft high and 5ft deep. The Erisimum Bowles mauve, bottom left, has recovered well from being cut right back at the end of August.

This Katsura will need a good pruning once it's Autumn colour has finished (only just getting started)

I cut this Euphorbia mellifera down to 6" in August and it has responded well. It should be six foot by next summer.

This white heather is just about to flower and will keep going through to May

Some mini sweet peppers I grew from seeds out of those mixed pack of little peppers you can get in Morrisons etc. Id given my mum the wrongly labelled peppers so she grew these-only watered, totally neglected but are brilliant!

Thank you KFF. It flowers all year long but is more floriferous in the Autumn/Winter. I have a pink B Suaveolens going that I salvaged a couple of years ago from the mother who died and have miraculously kept alive. It is in a pot you can barely see in the bottom left of the top picture (above the V). The other plants under the Brug are three Hibiscus just starting to flower.

Haven't tried them yet, so dont know what they taste like, not even sure they are ripe.

I've got two separate seed grown trees, but one always flowers a couple of weeks before the other, so getting then to cross pollinate is not easy.
