Hi @Nikolaos - they are based in Langar in Notts, so not far from you I assume! I went there many years ago when I lived nearby and they had some nice plants (got a martagon lily I recall), but not bought recently.

Ah, excellent! Will be nice having a source for wild plants so close to me if the plants that arrive are in good shape. :) Thanks @CarolineL, I saw some favourable mentions of them on the forum, but they were many years ago so I just wondered if standards were still high. :)

10 Cardamine pratensis (which is both a caterpillar foodplant and an adult nectar plant of Orange-tip and Green-veined White butterflies) and 5 Lythrum salicaria (which Brimstone butterflies apparently love) from Naturescape. Plants look in pretty good shape! :)

Wish you wouldn't do this, that's some more plants I need to buy:heehee: funny enough I was talking to my neighbour yesterday and she asked if I'd seen the butterflies with yellow tips on their wings (after looking it up orange tip) and I told her I'd seen them too, but neither of us have seen them before, pardon the pun but thanks for the tip of what they eat.

The Orange-tips also seem to love Aubrieta deltoidea. :heehee:

I have never had them in my garden before even tho there were quite a few Cardamine pratensis in my neighbours garden a few years ago. Now I typically get 1-3 visiting. I can only imagine that they are doing much better as a species recently. :dunno::)

That Green Alkanet thread has made me warier now, I checked the two I recently bought but they sound fine and non-invasive. :heehee:

I wouldn't worry too much about it, with the wealth of knowledge on the forum we're always going to learn more.

I've just ordered two bare-root trees - an IXL almond and a dwarf Doyenne du Comice pear. No photos as I need to wait until July to receive them

I also have my eye on this Huonville Crab Apple:Huonville Crab Semi-dwarfing - Woodbridge Fruit Trees

However, the space I have in mind for it isn't quite ready yet so trying to hold off for next year.

I thought "Wow ... there is a specialist Fruit Trees nursery in Woodbridge, that's not far from me ..."

They are in TASMANIA !!

                      :heehee:

The colonists were not very inventive with their place names.

It's a fantastic nursery, but probably a bit far to ship for you!

It's annoying that the Tasmanian nursery doesn't ship to WA - I thought that red fruited crab apple would make a lovely gift for my brother in Perth.
