It has. It looks much more like its close relative Bomarea than an Alstro but it is deffo Alstroemeria.

Is that just one plant in that photo or a few?

Anyway, Salvia involucrata 'Bethellii' is looking good this year...............

A few. :blue thumb: They keep going for so long because they're the sort of plant that produces flowers when they're fairly short and as they go over the plant grows and produces more flower. So they gradually get taller and last a good three months or more.

          P1490307.JPG

They're producing seed pods all the time so we hope to have loads of seeds and plenty of plants to sell next year. :blue thumb:

This is the new arrangement of named Bearded Iris with a total of 67 plants in 7.5 litre pots on the 4 tiered wooden bench, but there is still 9 more pots on the bench to fill with 3 Bearded Iris ordered from Cayeux, 3 from Sissinghurst, and another three from another grower which should all arrive in the next fortnight. All the pots are numbered and labelled with their variety names and there's a map of the bench with all the pots identified in case some of the labels fade before I rewrite them.
            upload_2020-9-11_21-26-18.png

there's also another 23 unnamed varieties of Bearded Iris in 7.5 litre pots on the East side of the Patio which I can't identify until they flower, some have flowered so I will spend some time trying to identify them this coming Winter.

I've grown Cleome on and off for fifteen years now and I prefer to give them space to allow them to grow into large multiheaded specimens. Two plants............

Looks good. :blue thumb: As we had so many plants we just stuck them in the ground in clumps and I haven't even checked to see whether any have multi heads :noidea:.

They come in white as well.
