In that case you'll have to draw more than one breath.

About the only aspirations I have for this year is to lower my thuja hedges, as I have all I need here. That brings a small problem in regards to the cuttings. There are so many of them that even if I only cut them down by 50cm., I will have something like 40 plus cubic metres of cuttings! Trips to the local tip for a private person are limited to 12 a year. After that, it £25 per visit. Skip hire is to expensive as well. So its looking as if I'll be giving the shredders a lot of use...:heehee:

Other than that, if the current situation allows, and I an get some things ordered and delivered, plans are to build a new gate, (from scratch) add a water feature, put in some garden lighting and build a new tool shed from scratch as well.

Just in case I get bored, there are plenty other things to do outside of the garden as well!

The aspiration I have is to get the Vaccine, meet my mates in town and work in the garden with the lovely Sun of Summer on my back.

I think my aspirations for the garden this year is to try to keep a constant flow of colour throughout the year and into the Winter as far as possible. The borders are a mix of bulbs, hardy perennials of all different varieties and perhaps I may, with the aid of the dozens of Hardy Perennials waiting to be planted create a few drifts here and there of the same varieties. I'm not a Gardener who likes straight lines or manicured lawns but, while trying to keep the Cottage Style I'm going to try to bring some order into the borders if the Garden will let me. Nothing ever really works out to plan and the garden is always changing by itself, but isn't that the fun and challenge of a garden?:love30:

My aspirations are simple - to try and keep the garden tidy! No new projects apart from trying to get lawn back on the very large area that has died off because of us storing empty pots and trays that we keep ready for all the plants we usually grow for sale. No open garden again this year so I've been tidying the area and dumping any that are damaged (would probably fill a small skip :rolleyespink:)

For some reason , all these jobs seem to get harder each year :old:
