I'll get around to taking some photos, tomorrow I hope, but just seen some Eucomis pop up in the greenhouse :hapydancsmil:. They hadn't come through two hours ago but are popping up through the surface now :)

I'm not sure there are many things looking good in the garden. Most of the garden is tatty and needs a lot of work done on it.

A lot of the double snowdrops are now opening but most of the singles are still to open.

The lawns look fairly good from a distance
                    P1500630.JPG

But close-up I'm not sure you could call it a lawn. It should really be called a moss

One advantage is that I've just found this bee orchid in it

Cyclamen go mad in our garden and spread everywhere. In the Spring these will just get mowed. Any friends are welcome to come and dig them up
                      P1500656.JPG

In the same area of lawn we have the underground pipes that go through this section to the soakaway for our cesspool :rolleyespink:. The taller plants are allium siculum that we dig out and sell for the charity. The snowdrops have suddenly appeared so some people may get free Shiney bonuses. :)

More self-seeded cyclamen that are going to have to go as I can't get the mower through

Thank you @CarolineL , I only bought it last year. It's still in its pot, I have to find somewhere to plant it now

I think you are lucky to have Cyclamen spreading like that @shiney  You seem to have a large garden ...

The Cyclamen spread like rampant weeds and are quite invasive in our garden. In the last three years they have travelled well over 100ft from their original bed :hate-shocked:.

It's a large garden and takes a lot of work nowadays :old: :noidea:

The picture of the largish lawn with the moss takes up about a quarter of our front garden. :phew: I have to get someone in nowadays to cut the hedges, prune the fruit trees and do the heavy digging and we don't keep things in as good condition as they used to be.

It looks nice though @shiney, and although I can understand how much of a nuisance the Cyclamen can be they must look very colourful when they flower.

I'm glad you can find help, it makes life easier doesn't it ... although I am reluctant to ask for help myself but maybe I'll have to one day.

Definite signs spring is on its way here with some more new flowers in the garden with a few showing here in this video I posted a couple of days back.

Still a lot of things dormant as well so will probably move a few more tree saplings later.

                                Happy gardening!
