      Thanks ,Vicky, Nick and Jenny for your very kind comments. The garden has evolved many times over from when we first moved here almost 40yrs ago. From a typical farmworkers veg and fruit patch (the original house was just a old workers cottage), then a football pitch for our boys...no good being lawn proud!!. Next a children's playground for supporting my self employed business that I ran from the house for 24 years.

      Now finally it is purely for hubs and my own enjoyment and pleasure...and woe be tide anyone who doesn't respect it.....like a very young postman who recently thought I didn't see him when he decided not to use the gate...instead he pushed his way through our hedge!!!!!
      Haven't seen him since!!:whistle:
