Had breakfast in the garden and then took some photos, as the light was so nice then.

Foxgloves, grown from seed last year. I have lost the packet but they were 'Excelsior' I think. Very popular with both the honey and the bumble bees. That is asparagus to their right, some gets eaten and I leave the rest to go to fern:

Lamium maculatum 'Beacon Silver', with Sedum 'Purple Emperor' to the right:

Rose 'Nostalgia', silver Stachys lanata, and the strawberry grape vine put in a couple of years ago is now really getting going - fingers crossed for a few bunches of grapes this autumn!

Might get some from the geranium if you would like another go.

If you rub the leaves they do have a certain smell, but its not over powering or noticeable if you dont touch it.

            So much colour everyone, beautiful.
Technically greenhouse because I can't find a spot outside. Brugmansia, scent in there is a bit overpowering.

What is wrong with the patio Michael ... other than there's no room on it for the pots? :heehee: Love that rose, very unusual.

I'm hoping for seed from this as it is too good a plant to be without in my opinion.

                  One of my favourites.

Seed from both would be great :blue thumb:

The first bloom on the Plumbago is opening next to a Hibiscus under the Iochroma so it gets too much shade. It should already be in full bloom.

One of the Lantanas we put in an old china sink on the Dining Patio which we plan on keeping small.

The Oleander by the lane was cut back to sticks in September but has filled out nicely and starting to give a few blooms.

They are beautiful blooms John. I had a Peony in Bucks and when we arrived back on holiday from here, it had bloomed and almost gone over! That was it, I gave it away as obviously their bloom cycle is short and we always came here in June. Such a beautiful plant though.

Oh, I love that colour @JWK ! I think if I had a large property, I would have one area that was all plants with yellow flowers or leaves. :)

@Victoria The wood on the patio is rotten and I'm afraid of walking on parts of it in case I fall through - there's a 4 ft drop under it :yikes: and I have visions of myself dangling :heehee:
I was hoping to have the space filled in and slabs put there but it's too big a job and would be very costly, so I'm going to have the wood replaced with some new material (like decking) which doesn't rot and doesn't loose its colour. The chap is coming next Monday to discuss it with me.

I'll have to find room for the pots etc when the work is being carried out ... not looking forward to that. The photo only shows some of them :runforhills:

                                No probs.
By the way, there is no small way about K.northiae - it's a big old brute of a Kniphofia. But the foliage remains nice and tidy, almost looks like a Yucca.
