An authentic Buddleja myriantha for comparison. More like B. albiflora than anything else.

Unfortunately I haven't seen this work yet. Thank you for your comments, much appreciated as always. Agree not B myriantha. I have little knowledge of hybrids at the moment.

It looks lovely, plenty of room, and there seems to be a storage place there too with a separate door, very handy.
Now you want to think of the planting around it

Even the old Anderson shelter that was here when we moved in looked better than his wannabe hill-billy moonshine shack.

Well, it's his garden and he can have whatever he likes in it, I suppose. I think he's partly aiming for originality and quite like the look of it, but it seems to be in a really sunny spot and I dread to think how warm it'll be at the height of Summer! :yikes::biggrin:

If I was Monty I'd be planting Russian vines around it.
It does have the appearance that it should be half buried, and topped off with sand bags.

I was at a couple of local nurseries recently, both had big bins to put old plastic pots for recycling.
Both of them didn't mind if you took what you wanted.

They didn't have anything massive but mostly anything up to 9 ins.
