Basically everything is looking great now.. Its been a warm, humid September and October. The trees are dropping their leaves a little but only green, there are no colours at all due to the mild, cloudy, humid weather IMG_20211019_102644.jpg IMG_20211019_101717.jpg IMG_20211019_103359.jpg IMG_20211019_101959.jpg IMG_20211019_102753.jpg IMG_20211019_102718.jpg IMG_20211019_102735.jpg IMG_20211019_102033.jpg

I grew I.fuchsioides, also red, for a few yearsn but lost it last winter. How hardy is this one?

I took a walk to Marylebone for breakfast yesterday and afterwards went back through Regents Park - they looked fantastic there too. Thanks for putting a name to them for me.

        Nice"

        Is this a Corydalis?

With a damp, humid October, fungi is in it's element here. I've not seen so many in the garden before.

Just the one Fly Agaric comes up every year.

I don't know what these are but there are clumps of them around the garden.

The following three images are taken in the same area. My daughter says they look like something from a horror film.

I'd be a bit suspicious that the brown ones were honey fungus of some kind.

That's possible Pete as the tree stump is dying.

Agree with Pete honey fungus. Like the Fly Agaric.

@longk Iochroma coccinea came from Hill House and they say:
"2" long tubular coral flowers in clusters during summer. Orange insides to the flowers with long stamens and pistil. Extremely pretty & rather unusual. Grown outside in Tresco, where we got it, but definitely to be treated as 'tender' on the mainland."
Mine has spent the last 3-4 winters in an unheated greenhouse and will do this year.

I also have Iochroma purpurea, again from Hill House, the label says down to 4°C came through last winter in the cold greenhouse.

Iochroma fuchsoides is coming along nicely from seed sown last spring, germinated quite well so have half a dozen to overwinter. Special Plants describe this as borderline hardy.

This is the first time this has flowered for me.
Not sure if it will become more impressive or not, its a bit late in the season
                                now, big pea type flowers.

                                Crotalaria agatiflora.
