I have faith ... I think I can save them all, even the Aptenia (bottom right) as I think the root is alive. I will see about potting them up today. I will have to fight the wind to do that!

Today I purchased two new green/yellow hostas. I wanted to have a couple of variegated hostas as mine were all plain green. I picked these up from Lidl for £3.99 each.

Here is the Adenium obsesum potted up. The Aptenia roots were planted so I will wait and see.

I have planted up the small plants already. The Photinia and Passiflora have places to go when T'other Half is up to it (back playing up at the moment).

Unusual for you to buy a new pot Vicky, glad you treated yourself to one and it's very nice!

You know Nick, I thought that very same thing myself! Strangely on the way home I thought "Hmmmm, there was another one or two I fancied". :th scifD36:

What they didn't have was terracotta feet for pots which I would like for a trough. I have some under another trough but obviously got them somewhere else.

My 2 Hebe 'Great Orme' arrived today! :yay: They seem like a robust cultivar which pollinators love and will hopefully be very happy in my low maintenance garden. These are a rare treat for me as I have been focusing on doing better with the plants I already have instead of buying new ones for the last few months, checked my records this morning and realised that these are the only plants I've purchased since late January! I think I'll limit myself to around half-a-dozen plant purchases a year from now on, makes it seem more special buying something new if it's very occasional! :)

Right, off to give them a good watering and get them in the shade, they look a tad squashed and dehydrated to me.

                        Nick

They look healthy to me Nick. They will pick up in no time. What are the red blooms behind them?

Oh, just some red tulips. Plonked them there a few years ago and keep meaning to replace them with some parrot ones, but have never gotten round to it! Don't like red in the garden nowadays, but these are so brief-flowering that I tolerate them. :)

Strangely, it is not my favourite. White is on the bottom of the list. At the moment I am liking pink and orange together ... with splashes of purple.

Went to the garden centre yesterday and bought 2 different fuchsia for £2.50 each. Both Hardy Bush varieties so planted them in the garden yesterday afternoon. 16513071258038351354643947552085.jpg 16513071882836485041613494829752.jpg 16513072125616777303569671878496.jpg 16513072425115178208764590616760.jpg
