It does look that way, well done @Upsydaisy. I'll watch this space for the flower. :) Mine are still at 3 inches even with a change of soil. I don't think it's warm or sunny enough this year to get plants growing. We've had a lot of cloud cover and even the buddleja is only just showing signs of flowering.

@Sheal i think the key is don't let them get wet & frozen over winter, i don't think they need super heat, I'm in the Midlands so i do tend to get sporadic warmth, as mentioned before i really did neglect mine, they have been out for at least two winters fortunately in a sheltered spot and it wasn't until i noticed the conversation about them i remembered i had them. Moved them to a sunny spot and looking well, two are flowering the third isn't but has around 30 stems, i think they're a bit tougher than we think.

Thanks for the info @mazambo. My youngsters will over winter in the utility room. If I leave them outside they won't stand a chance of surviving. I'm a little envious of your plants, they're looking good and I love the flowers. :)

I think I may over winter mine too, I'm a tad apprehensive about planting them out to be honest. What would you advise please @mazambo? Would they be OK as pot plants, then I would be able to give them protection in Winter?

Mine are ok in pots but I would assume they would be better in the ground, I'm just wondering if they could be treated like canna lilies ? Planted out in summer and dug up in winter? Not sure on that but maybe give it a go and see how it goes.
