A very happy Saturday morning to you all.:)

A fairly restful day ahead for me today but after having a day off yesterday I will show willing and start with a bit of weeding. ;)

Then I will read my gardening magazine, followed by watching last nights Gardeners World programme on catch up.

But first the most important thing is to annoyingly video call our youngest at this ungodly early hour in the morning and sing Happy Birthday to him......I'm sure he will greatly appreciate it.........not!!:roflol:

      Have a fabulous day.

Bom Dia Two Smiles.jpeg It is another lovely breezy day that shouldn't get too hot ... I like this 'not going over 30c' game.

Yes, Lori and Upsy, I am so relieved I may get an answer ... not sure I will like it though, but hey ho!

Lori, your papers will be fine, don't fret. :fingers crossed:

Upsy, lovely part of the UK, but I am not unfamiliar with it. ;)

Well, the original person we contacted about the a/c for The Baffa is coming this morning to quote so another step in the right direction. J will continue finishing off the wall. I won't do a lot but my usual pottering.

Hi Flumpy! Whatever you are doing, have a lovely day.

Sorry I’ve not been around much this week, it’s been very very stressful at work this week but I won’t bore you with that.

Lori sorry to hear your friends mum passing so sad, she was a very good age, same as my grandad he passed in 2007 still miss him

Upsydaisy how’s your knee feeling after your walk ?

Vicky did you have a glass of wine under them nice lights last night ?

Tomorrow we are going to Hebden Bridge Classic car show and the weather is going to be nice too :spinning:

Thanks for asking.....my knee is and unfortunately always will be niggly and at times very painful...I have accepted the fact that this is as good as it will ever be now, So be it, it's more 'reliable' than it was for the past couple of years and that's all I asked for.:)

                Good day
It is hazy and 68f but I noticed when I took the recycle and rubbish out this morning that it also very very humid.

@Upsydaisy you would get the full benefit of the gulf stream where you are. I'm envious!

I was not pleased that my new neighbour put their green (food waste) bin out last night instead of this morning. The raccoons had their way with it and strewed all of his yucky slimy mess all around. I got out the fan rake and simply raked what was on my side of our front lawns, over to his. They have been putting things out when they shouldn't like rubbish on a non rubbish week so I printed off a detailed one page calendar that had everything spelled out for the rest of the year. They also used to live only 3 streets away so I'm surprised they didn't think of these masked marauders. They'll learn eventually and it seems by the school of hard knocks. :noidea:

I've got the first of today's laundry in the washer and the line up ready to receive wet clothes. And am now sat with my first cuppa.

                Cheers :coffee:

The western side of the country, especially up in the Outer Hebrides in Scotland feel the benefits much more so.

Our youngest has been learning it for a few years and speaks it fluently now which he can use as he loves travelling around South America.

You'll soon pick it up. I understand better than I can speak in my hubs lanuage, but I do use my limited vocabulary to speak to my sister in law and nephew. ...they smile and say something back so I take it they can understand me ;):heehee:.

Yes this Christmas....he's accumulated lots of extra days by working over weekends recently , so as it stands now he's got 12 weeks this time. He enjoys it because he says he gets 2 summers!!

Oh, I thought he was away ... why were you posting at 5.04am and why would you call him that early. I wrongly thought he was away.

I was just up and about and had thought I would wake him up early too.....mean Mummy!!!:roflol: In the end I didn't, we had our video chat later. He was on his way to meet some friends to spend his birthday with. He was walking along the Thames towards Canary Wharf and he kept showing us the views, it was beautiful up there and surprisingly quiet for a Saturday morning too. As he had his headphones on unfortunately he didn't escape hearing us sing Happy Birthday to him....I kid myself that the look on his face was of pure joy!!
