I haven't been there for quite a number of years, but hope to go now in the autumn. I have more time now.

A few years ago @noisette47 send me seed of the dark leaved Lagerstroemia, I have 2 plants left and they are very slow with me.
I have some that only seem to have muddy purple like flowers very scarcely but this one is, IMO, a really good bright colour, I grew it from seed many years ago from a strain called Little Chief, I wish I had kept more from that sowing.

Yes @pete that colour is really impressive! How hardy do you find it? And does it take from cuttings? (Unsubtle hint)

It's always been hardy with me, I find cuttings difficult, but been experimenting with air layers, managed to get one this year rooted and put another layer on a couple of months ago, I won't remove that until next year, if it takes I'll put your name on it.

Geranium "Mavis Simpson" grows well in a dry spot on top of a wall.

Salvia Amistad, just getting going this year.

Verbascum. More interesting is the Cotoneaster microphylla growing very flat against the wall. This was grown from seed some years ago, has matt red berries and is prone to fasciculation. It's "sibling" is more horizontal.

Anemone japonica "Hadspen Abundance" apologies; it's pinker than the picture shows.

Thanks for the reply @Victoria. :)

Egypt is one of the last places I'd expect to have rose farms.

Still lots of flowers blooming here and posted a video showing some of them here.

I am sure everything looks wonderful, but I have to admit due to my poor/non existent internet speed I cannot watch all the videos.

Thanks for the vote of confidence. Will check later if I can figure out how to use my phone to post photos and try add some. For some reason my computer won't link to my phone in the way I am familiar with so posting video to youtube.com is a bit easier.

                      Happy gardening!

I don't know how to do that. Besides, I delight them from the phone once I have them on the computer where I can file photos in albums.

Might work but doing anything internet related on my phone seems more awkward than with a more traditional computer. Thanks for the advice.
