I've just come across a word(s?) that I have never heard before. It was on BBC early news about the Super Bowl (is that supposed to be one or two words?) and it was "three-peat" which apparently means for a third time.

I’ve just looked at the BBC news website and at the top of the page are three articles about this Super Bowl. Ahead of and above any British news.

I don’t even know which sport this Super Bowl is about? Netball? (what the Americans call basketball)? Football? (what the Americans call soccer)? Or giant goldfish?

Interestingly and more appropriately in the 6 Nations Rugby; Ireland could be on for a "three peat" just another 4 matches to win.

SuperBowl - the NFL - National Football League - American Football - annual final. Fascinating game, if long-winded, complicated, brutal and challenging.

The use of the word "wrong doing" which is now often used to describe an illegal action. The constant " I apologise " when someone has just been caught out but isn't the least bit sorry for what they have said/done. At the opposite end, the word "hypocrisy" isn't used often enough.

Its not a term often used around building sites and those kind of places hence the laughs, we usually used other terms that cant be used here.

Thanks for the proper spelling.:blue thumb:
