My tulips in containers have done very well at last, especially the white flushed lemon one.
The paeonies are in bud, will see if the two tone one has survived. A clematis in a pot, bought last year and not planted out has flower buds coming, just to make me feel guilty. The Camassia are all in flower, I wish the colour was stronger, they seem very washed out to me. Maybe a feed might help next year. The new yellow rock rose has also put on growth and flower buds.
The garlic has grown well so might have a crop at last. So much promise for later.

Tulips at different stages of development and decline. Next year I'll try to buy bulbs that are synched!

      A cheerful combination.

View of my garden from my deck. Only a small amount of daffs showing there, we have over 500 thousand of them. I am reluctant to post pics here as many times says too large. This one worked , who knows why. BackYard.jpg

The ferns loved the heavy overnight rain on Tuesday and have decided now is the time to unfurl. :blue thumb:

Dodecatheon, which I thought I'd lost because I haven't seen it for 2 yrs, but it has turned up in a pot with another plant I dug up a while ago :hapfeet:
The flowers haven't opened properly yet ...

My other peony rockii plant. The flower doesn't have the pink glow of the other one and is less scented. It has tons of buds!

Dew/rain on hosta Diamond Lake. It's in a pot till I decide the best place for it.

Wishing warmth and sunshine your wAY. It is only 19c now feeling cooler as we have a sharp breeze from the NW, going to the mid 20s later.

Will Oxalis be happy as an indoor plant all yr, @Jenny namaste? I've never purchased one for outside as I believe they are delicious to slugs, and I can do without the heartache and effort of trying to protect them from annihilation by midnight chomping.

I know I have said this before @Plantminded but I really love your garden. The contrast of textures and heights is fantastic, and you have turned the fact that the garden is sloped to a real feature (it really showcases all the plants and different levels). And then you also have attention to detail in other ways e.g. how the bench is framed, the colour...
