How nice to see the setting for some of these lovely plants. I like your path wending down.

French Marigold. I gave up with my seed sown ones and bought some plants from the supermarket.

Salvia - I don't know exactly which. I bought a small cutting for £1 from a car boot sale about 3 years ago and now I have them all over the garden!

Since there is no thread for 'What ISN'T looking good in May' I've put this here - it's my Sambucus niger, I've never seen it wilting before. In fact I've never seen any of my shrubs in the ground wilting, their roots go down far enough to get water ... but this year it's been so dry my Sambucus is wilting.
I hope the others are all right :fingers crossed:

I've given the Sambucus a watering can full of water, but had to wait a while before I could do it - Bella was taking a nap under it !
And it's got lots of flowers appearing this year too, I hope they'll perk up !

I bought what I think was a micro propagated Strelitzia about three years ago, turned out it was actually 2 tiny plants which I separated, both are going to flower this year at barely 2 ft tall, the fist opened today.

Unfortunately it hasn't @ViewAhead :frown: thanks for asking ... but i
t is very old and also trained along a wrought iron fence, so maybe there's something wrong with it anyway. All the other plants around it are fine.
However, there are some nice strong shoots emerging from lower down on the plant so I am hoping they will grow to replace the old top bit.
