Can anyone recommend a thing (dolly, trolly or whatever) for moving EXTREMELY heavy containers. Two people can move them by walking them, but it's hard! One thing that worries me is how to lift the thing onto the platform -- they don't seem to have ramps. I guess it should have brakes too.
How heavy? 100kg or 1000kg? What kind of dimensions? I'm incredibly pleased with my Chinese 4-wheel wonder, a trolley that happily takes two 70l bags of compost from front of the house to the back bumping over the changes of level without a blink. It cost me about £12 from Shein (that I shamelessly use rather than buying the same product from Range or B&Q )
I use a sack barrow, you can get various sizes. Some with longer load plate . And no lifting to get it on there, just slightly tip what you want to lift and slide it under.
I've got a convertible sack truck/trolley that I've had for years. Made by Black & Decker. It has 4 wheels and a folding handle.
Like @pete I use a sack barrow - easy to manouvre and doesn't take up much storage space when not in use. Mine is donkey's years old but it may be worth looking around and seeing what sizes and weight capacity are available now. I'm afraid I don't know the make.
