A garden posy complete with ground elder which grows in abundance now. I just have to accept it as part of the garden now,

I haven't tried it myself - it's one of the few weeds I don't have! But it was introduced to Britain by the Romans as a pot herb. From what I read, you eat the very youngest shoots, either in a salad or cooked like spinach. And it's recommended not to eat it once it starts flowering, so it's a bit late for you this year.

Her ladyship, C. Niobe has finally graced me with her presence. Lots of buds to open too, assuming the slugs will stay away long enough....
