What is wrong with my Buddleia

Hi all,
Has anyone any idea what is wrong with my buddleia this year? It’s never looked so sad.
I pruned it back hard as I always do every year, and it has come back with some strong looking stems, but the leaves look terrible? Some look like they are being eaten by something, and others have these yellow like spots all over them???

All mine are the same, but I can see flower buds coming.

 

There was this post and replies to it about a week ago. Buddleias suffer from some affliction across the country. I've just hacked mine down and will get rid of it over winter. It's very old and the last two/three summers it has looked dreadful.
