Would an east-facing flower bed, which gets sun from dawn until 1.00 p.m. , be suitable for Heucheras ?

And why does this not appear in the New Posts section ??

Yes, @Michael Hewett, as long as your soil is not too dry. I also have some in full sun and they’re fine once established.

And what's the point of having a 'New Posts' section if new posts don't appear there ?? This is still not there ...

Just another thought @Michael Hewett, I grow mainly purple and orange leaved Heucheras which are fairly adaptable. The only one which disliked hot sun was a green leaved, veined variety, which I moved into a shadier area.

Thank you @Plantminded I'm trying to buy a mixture of varieties for my front garden, the afternoons are shady there so I hope the green ones will be all right, if not I'll move them to another part of the garden.

I have the brighter green one - H. Lime Marmalade, in quite a sunny site @Michael Hewett [south west facing]. It's fine. I didn't like it initially, as I felt it looked a bit 'lettuce-y' but it's really good for brightening up any spot with darker leaved plants.

PS - I saw this in the New Posts section [first post] because that's how I access the site. I have it bookmarked on my laptop, and just click on that once I've posted, or read a query.

Thank you @fairygirl I have one or two green ones so will plant them in my front garden,

I can't see this question in the New Posts at all and I've looked back for several pages. That's why I thought it wasn't there.

I think once you post on it, it disappears until someone else posts, so I'd have thought it would show up for you now. That seems odd.
If I suddenly remember something to add to a post I've just done, I look in Recent Posts so that I can edit.

I don't understand it @fairygirl ... after your previous comment I waited several minutes but still couldn't see this thread in the New Posts.
          I'm probably doing something wrong.

That's strange @Michael Hewett . Maybe the mods can help. I know there was a thread a few days ago about something similar.

Hopefully they'll sort it @Michael Hewett :blue thumb:
I wonder if it's easier for you to bookmark the threads you're using, and then you can get an alert for them? I just saw an alert [yours] for the thread, but also - it's top of my page on New Posts. Maybe the browser you use or something - I don't know. I'm not techy enough!

Where you've just posted - there should be an option bottom right to Bookmark.
