I have ‘ Hawkshead ‘ Fuchsia in a big 40cm deep pot up the back garden( nearly lost it last year but just in time re-potted it mid summer ) it’s picked up will take a pic later and post it. But this fuchsia in the Hanging basket in the picture it’s so so pretty ! . Lost the label so don’t know the name . IMG_7488.jpeg IMG_7490.jpeg

How different is cyclamen africanum please @NigelJ ? Are the flowers bigger than hederifolium? They look very similar. I have some africanum (supposedly) in my glasshouse and can't see a difference!

Nooo I didnt realise cyclamen wasnt native :sick0026::sick0026: I see it around here quite a lot... Ahhh so much has moved into england!

I did find a lovely campanula native to england which cheered me up a bit!
I believe it is Nettle-leaved bellflower. There were a few shades which is odd.

I also managed to collect some seeds of this and of betony and a wierd burnet, perhaps salad burnet. Annoyingly the prettiest thing (subjective!) I found turned out to be "american horseweed". Looks like a starry sky with little fireworks. A purple prickly lettuce I saw a while ago was similar but would need to be in a clump for the same effect.
Not a great picture. I was being chased slowly by a horse.

I also saw this. My app says marsh mallow but im not so sure. I think it came in via human accident somehow.

        Edit:
This website suggests the lettuce I saw was greater lettuce and not prickly. British Wild Plant: Lactuca virosa Great lettuce

        lovely plant
