    @CarolineL , I'm afraid I don't know. we have two plants both from a GC bought at different times. One was a present. The fruits of one are more rounded, the other slightly elongated. They seem to have adopted a pattern of alternate fruiting, when one has ripe fruits the others are small and green . I will need to put the protection on soon now the weather is cooling down.

      I do think there is something wrong with your protection frame @Allotment Boy - it has no spare room for extra plants! :biggrin:

        I went to Farmyard Nurseries today. Not to buy (amazing!) but to pass on a chunk of my hedychium Luna Moth for him to propagate. Saw lots of good things, but remained firm. :biggrin:

          Unfortunately I had to build it to fit the space. We do cram a few other things in. I do have a greenhouse but it doesn't get much light in the depth of winter.

                  These chrysanthemum’s are looking a lot more orange in real terms. Lovely rich deep rustic orange colour.
