And, are the " raised " areas facing outwards? Joolz68 is your greenhouse the same, from the same supplier and with the same glazing panels?:D

Well done, Jack. Looks like you've got it all organised! I did warn you that you'd need a degree from NASA to construct the Greenhouse. I also forgot to mention you'd need patience, determination, and ointment for bee stings, but I guess you were born with the first two and had to buy the third.:D:thumbsup:

      Polycarbonate panels facing out
      From UK Greenhousesales.co.uk
base 3mm zinc galvanised steel 5" deep
      Polycarbonate panels 1mm polycarbonate
      Diagonal strengtheners :-) 1MM Alaminium
      Not B&Q
Same as Joolz only green powder coated
PALRAM Rubbish only weighs 50kg fully glazed so well rooted down only not happy as the 3mm base you can pull the frame from the concrete even with 1" plates, rather than screw head only

If I knew before I had bought I would willingly have spent £200 more

On the good side when I transfered my neglected Tomato plants to it The runt of the litter Alicante has three set trusses with actual 2" green tomatoes x eight on each, These were planted in 15" paint pots at four inches high 01-05-2011 in payless compost
I am afraid due to neglect my other plants although twice the size and having many trusses have trusses from the part that should have been nipped out
ie:- two main stems, so unless told otherwise I am going to nip out both growing points and let the fruit (hopefully set)

My boss at work who commenced holiday today and knowing of my blow away and damaged plants problem presented me at my house with twelve thriving tomato plants and twelve assorted pepper plants, so My new Greenhouse is full

I do not know what to do with peppers, so I am going to search the site now

Do you treat them just like tomatoes, how high do they grow, can they be mixed together ?

And joy of joys my comp packed in tonight, I have managed to get it up and running in a fashion but no windows live mail
I have uninstalled it and downloaded it again, but it comes up with the same error, memory full and crashes the comp Grr

Just as I was looking forward to F1 Grand Prix (not variety) :-) Tomorrow I now have to work on this problem :-(
I was a network PC Engineer in my previous life and still I can not sort it :-(

      Regards Jack McH

      Yep that is me
I thought I would stick the camera on the fence and post a pic of me and the work I had completed (ugly old treetreetreetreetreetree gone white and look as knackered as I felt :-)

My problem is I always do job and finish, really at my age and condition I should have taken several weeks to do this project, But no, I started so I will finish working every weekend hour off apart from the rained off weekend that has taken me 70 hours
empty shed, and place under tarpaulines, dismantle shed, build new base, remove concreted old base, rebuild shed, restore contents to shed, make green house base level by dropping front 12" raising rear by 12", build path around greenhouse, preserve both sides of fence, till soil, build greenhouse, glaze greenhouse, plumb in the blue water but, move in and plant plants, move lettuce and sweetpeas to side of greenhouse, I think that is about it

Tomorrow I need to cut the neglected grass, move the compost bin and relax watching F1 Grand Prix, other than repair this computer :-)

I will have the day off Monday apart from the gym, which I excused myself from due to the work commitment

        Nope
I worked with the Royal Naval attache in the comms centre Napoli for several months, so picked up enough to get by when out and about
Cattolica is more affordable than Napoli or Roma

        ciao
