Happy Dance...

My first ever onion and beetroot........




I know I picked them small but I wanted to see if the effort would be worth it, the onion got washed chopped and munched I peeled the root and dropped in boiling water for three minutes, then dropped in three of the leaves for another three minutes.....



And I have to say it tasted fantastic:yess: makes you feel inspired to get on in the garden

Excellent! So far I have eaten some lettuce of own production. I am hoping to have at least a couple of tomato plants which so far they are nice and sturdy.

I have the habit of sowing seeds of whatever I eat and like, therefore I have several little tomato plants, some should be cherry tomatoes, some much bigger. We will see...

 

Thanks miraflores, Not very keen on lettuce unless its with a nice dressing, tho I've got some "cut and comeback" growing, I will make an effort to put a couple of leaves on the kids plates:WINK1:
