      You could use Lime mortar instead which never goes off, all you do next day is knock it up again with a bit of water.

      Or with ordinary portland cement add retarder to the mixer so it takes a couple of days before it starts setting at this time of year. :dbgrtmb:

          i am chuffed to bits :dbgrtmb: i have put a back in it as well but brezze blocks so am gunna render it and make it look like stone blocks :thumbsup: i have got a pair of Victorian Coach lamps i am guna hang either side of the arch way the lawn is ruined :mad: but will sort that in spring :wub2: roll on spring :loll:

                  Finerley finished!!! the Front Any way and the Well is Now A Lilly Pool Finished that as well 8 am start 5 pm Finish All Done & Holding Water :phew: :yess: sadley reked the lawn but Not to worried about that poss re turf or grass seed in a few months time!!! i want to build a water wheel now off the left hand side in to another pool looking for a water wheel now 3 to 4 ft in diameter :help: :heehee:
