I've been doing a but of research and as far as I can tell it's perfectly legal to grow tobacco providing you don't intend to sell. I was wondering if anyone has tried to and if so how easy is it to grow. would like to give it a go would appreciate and advice or help.

    Hello.

From my experience it is not complicated at all the only thing to take care about is that you should be very cautious when watering at the beginning. The best way is to put seeds on the top of the soil (about 2 cm of soil is enough) in some ordinary plate and later when the seeds begin to grow, you plant them in smaller seeding pot and in the late spring you can plant it in the garden on the most sunny spot you have. You should begin with planting the seeds now if you want to have strong plants in the summer.

And claim back all expenses such as seed, compost, greenhouse heating, time.

Lets see if we can beat them at their own game:heehee:
