    :D oh my goodness :D

i have posted this else where on forum but wanted to make sure that experienced people saw it too :D
i had answered an advert on freecycle for an offer of 5kg plastic pots with lids, thinking i can use around home or more likely for gardening things (offer stated he had many but would share to all that asked)

any way he contacted me today to say that i could come and get them all as no one else had been in touch, his address a grand total of 12 houses away :heehee: in the next street

we get chatting and he asked what i wanted to use so many pots for .I told him can never have to many when you do gardening ... we carried on chatting and he says do you not have an allotment, no waiting lists are very long around here :( says me

then he says would you like to teach someone how to garden:what:

i quickly tell him i am just learning myself and tell him what i managed to grow last year,

he says that better than i did ON MY ALLOTMENT, waited 6 yrs for it and says he hasnt got a clue, (having just been to have a butchers i agree :heehee:)

he wants me to take over his allotment while i am on the waiting list and teach him what to do and when :dbgrtmb:

i think i may just say yes ... I nearly kissed him...... but DO YOU think this is a good or bad idea, he doesnt want me to pay the rent just teach him how and let him have a feed of the results :dbgrtmb::loll:

      Hi Kaz
if you were a sweaty builder 6 ft beer belly do you think he would of asked you :heehee:

I have lost my trust with people so takes a while with me to sus out what what , if he harmless and NO hidden motives/agenda and you have the time whats the problem none , I am suprised if he has done so little they havnt kicked him off
To be a mentor you have to set out the ground rules first , whos ££ paying for what , if me I would just help out now and again I woudnt commit I think the problems may creep in , my mum shared allotment talk about moan and groan so I sugested they have half each now that worked a treat everyone happy and the path ran right through the middle and the Alotment comitte Committee also happy with the outcome if one left the other had the choice to take it over again with agreement from the Commitee
