      Sheal

Crocosmia :dbgrtmb: as long as you spilt up every couple of years is a realy good plant for awkward spots especialy , give it full sun , well drained soil and lots of varieties to choose from

So I say keep them Cat !!, I can see a poll coming on :D

My mother grew "Montbretia", as we seemed to call it way back then, and it was rather short, Orange, and of no particular note. OTOH I think that Crocosmia Lucifer is tall, a good strong red, and useful in the garden.

But if Sheal has persuaded you that you don't want it Catztail I'm happy to send you my address :heehee:

Sorry Spruce, it has to go, it's bad enough seeing it growing all over the island as well, it's just a weed to me!
