Walking past our local florist/grocer today I noticed some Celandine "Brazen Hussy" and some yellow Dog Tooth Violets outside in 1 litre pots (nice big plants) and only £1.50 each. I bought a pot of Dog Tooth Violets and 3 pots of the Celandine (one of my favourite spring plants).

The Violets look like 4/5 bulbs had been planted in a pot and sold as a clump, this is a great bargain because the 1 bulb for this plant had been on sale at Wilkos late last year for £2-£3.

    Happy Days :dbgrtmb:

Sorry Bilbo, I see both of these as little more than weeds. I'm trying to get rid of Celandine at the moment. :)

Each to there own, no need to be sorry Sheal :snork: , that's what's great about us gardeners, everyone likes something different.

I collected about 7/8 different varieties of Celandine in my old garden, from the native yellow one to large white flowered ones and oranges in between, some with black markings on the leaves and Brazen Hussie with purple leaves :dbgrtmb:

If that pic is recent, your Aquiligia are a good bit further on than mine.
It must be the tropics that you live in!
