      Joolz as Sal said above , have you potted / planted any bulbs ? They are worth a million £'s in early spring.

      Just cleaned the patio and covered the patio set and BBQ - no more sausages for Maya until April :doggieshmooze:

          You didn't put one on the front door did you Zigs? Not unless you want some unexpected Lime for your Brassicas :) and a draughty house if it turns proper-cold ...

              Im still using the hose kristen as ive no water butts but will pack it all away this week and stop being lazy:blue thumb:
              We always cover the crowns of the gunnera with the leaves,i find most of the leaf has rotted or blown away by january but its lived through the last 13 winter :) i think ive cut it down late this yr as i usually see ladybirds huddled together on the underneaths but not a one to be seen last week :dunno:x

              I have tuips and daffs in already,i think ive added some black tulips plus a bag of mixed somewhere,i cant remember where :heehee: i planted another 20 wall flowers yest so im hoping for a bit more colour than usual come spring :blue thumb:
              Id of put the BBQ in the greenhouse if i would of had room :heehee: x

              My neighbour 4 doors up had chickens up untill last yr i was forever carrying one of them back to them,it would sneak down the backs of the gardens to mine :heehee: must of liked our garden or she knew where to find a good snack im always feeding the birds:)x

                Saffron is harvested from certain types of Crocus . It costs about £5 a gramme , as Ziggy said worth millions :blue thumb:

                I have planted Wallflowers as well for the first time , for a splash more early colour.
