    Morning one and all,:snooze:

    Up with the lark again.:thud:

Made all my labels, now and sticking them on my jars, putting on the pretty fabric cover, and now will be ready for Sunday's boot sale.:blue thumb:

OH in bed, went out yesterday, now has a very bad sore throat!:cry3::sick0026:

He is also recovering from yet another fall, 3 weeks ago, now has a 'Baker's cyst' basically a build up of fluid behind the left knee, very painful. He has been to see the physio, and has to see Ortho's on the 28th April. We be put in touch with the falls unit as well. He is slowly deteriorating, his memory is going, has tremors in his hands, so have made an appointment to see the doctor.:eeew:

I think I shall be having a lot of work in the not so distant future. I have asked my son to come over soon to help me with the digging, Pete is not up to it any more and my poor back is letting me down, as I also took a fall last weekend, getting ready for the boot sale- taking the plastic tabletop through the door, stupidly had in front of me, went over the threshold, table went first and I followed it, landing on top, bruised my side, and caught my hernia repair, thankfully it did not tear. All this to get things in the car quickly, so that my husband did not have to do it.
Heyho, what a pair we are. Ready for the scrapheap...... :help:

    Aloha everyone,

Lili, I hope you both get better soon :blue thumb:

I got a lot done in the garden yesterday and will try and get more done today. It's not very warm out there and looks like it may rain but I think it's dullness from the pollution.

Keep well and have a great day

    Aloha!

                        Aloha everyone,

I did a lot more work yesterday. More weeding, digging and composting. Dug up about 200 Spanish bluebells for a friend of Mrs Shiney. The bluebells took two hours :doh:of digging as they were amongst other plants and all the way through the lily-of-the-valley.

I'll now have to bed the l-o-t-v back in as my back wouldn't let me do it yesterday.

I, also, potted up 72 plug plants (a variety of perennials) for Mrs S. She was out all day and I didn't even know she had ordered them - I think they were a special offer in the papers - 'mixed perennials'. It took a lot longer than I thought it would as a lot of them had, obviously, been in the plugs too long and their roots had grown into the plugs either side!

With all the weeding and digging I've neglected working on the lawn edges so will have a go at them today. It takes a long time t this time of year to get them all reformed but it then lasts all year.

Keep well and have a great day.

                        Aloha!

Doing the lawn edges Shiney always seems to make a garden look well kept no matter how tidy the actual beds are.
