I'm growing some cucumbers for the first time, the leaves seem to turn droopy around midday, extra watering in the midday sort of perks them up and they're usually perky again by the next morning.
However that's not the only problem, the bottom leaves look really vein-ey and weird.
I started using some miracle grow plant fertiliser to try and help the past 2 weeks, the plants have really shot up and gotten huge and the top foliage looks healthy but that veiny stuff is still going on and they seem droopy some times.

I've seen a few types of insects feasting on them as well. I caught that ant looking thing today
but I've seen some iridescent looking bugs (maybe Japanese beetles) and ones that look like small flies as well. I started using that neem oil extract to try and get rid of the bugs... hopefully it'll help?

    :( Please help?

It could be magnesium deficiency, or worse still, red spider mite.
Check under the leaves for minute crawling insects, less than a 1mm long, also possible webbing, but that only happens in the later stages.

I looked under the leaves and I don't see anything crawling about or anything. I'm hoping for magnesium and I guess I'll look for some magnesium supplements! Thanks!

Does Magnesium make the leaves droopy? Also will the cukes be okay to eat?

Anything that grows on the plant will be ok to eat.

I dont think magnesium deficiency would make the leaves droopy, its more likely to be heat stress or low humidity.
Best source of magnesium is epsom salts, mixed up and watered on, you can also spray the leaves with a solution to speed up the process.
