Yawn Yawn, Wakey WAKEY... 2014...

I seem to remember doing some painting - 30 or 40 years ago (may have been longer)

 

I am quite lucky with this house - it was fully refurbished (back to brick I reckon) in 2007, so the walls and ceilings are as smooth as a babies bum. The ceilings are low, so I can roller them without the need for a ladder or even an extension pole, and a lot of the house is sort of open plan, so its just a case of whizzing over it with a roller really.

We ended up with a load of Crown paints (I usually go for Dulux by default, but Crown's colour range was far superior this time round), and for the feature wall in the wee ones bedroom we got some of this stuff - I never knew stuff like this ever existed! Be interesting to see what it looks like once its on the wall

After a wonderful warm and sunny day yesterday we have a warm and damp morning that is going to turn into warm and sunny days for at least the next 10 days.

Woo, Sarafi doesn't need to get up early for his meeces. He was munching on one in the middle of our lawn at 2 p.m. yesterday.

Loli, I hope you've recovered OK from yesterday

FC, I feel tired just thinking of all the painting you're going to do . Are you going to paint a nice mural on the wee one's wall?

Morning all - going to do the big heave today, and really get cracking with the decorating. Once I get the woodwork done, it shouldn't take too long hopefully.
