It's the left one and my car is automatic - I just close my eyes and let it go! :heehee:

It's the first time that my foot has been quite painful - which it would be as it's on the underneath of the heel. I need Woo to lend me a pair of wings so that I can hover. :)

        Morning all

Back in Eastbourne for the weekend, quite dull and dreary here just now but hoping the sun will put an appearance in soon.

Hope little miss AB is feeling better soon.

You must be really fed up with the foot problem Shiney, very annoying for someone as active as you are. Hope it doesn't spoil your trip.

:fingers crossed: it's cure and not kill Loli and the sniffles and backache are gone before you get home.

        Wishing everyone a lovely weekend.

Morning all - another day of jam and chutney making lies ahead for me, got to get stuff processed before it starts to go off.

@shiney - maybe the time has come to see a doc about your foot, you can't keep going like that.

@Lolimac - hope the sniffles are just momentary and your back pain eases quickly.

AB - I'd love a coffee, thank you. I am a bit of a coffee fiend - probably drink too much in fact

Have a cracker of a day no matter what you are doing everyone

Warning: don't read if eating your breakfast! :)

@fat controller I did go to the surgery a week or so ago and was given steroid cream. I saw the senior practice nurse who is their expert on foot problems and she said that it's difficult to tell what the problem is.

She gave me the cream but wasn't too keen on me using it, unless it got very itchy. Steroids only supress the symptoms and don't cure them. The foot has been gradually clearing up (it was dotted all over the underneath of the foot), with the occasional further eruption. Most of it has cleared just leaving pink, slightly tender, areas and some areas of cracking, flaking skin.

The occasional eruption hasn't been too much trouble but this last one (only came up yesterday) has been a real nuisance. At first it just felt like a really solid lump under the heel (similar to a corn and the size of a pea) so was quite painful to walk on. By last night it had developed into a puss filled lump that was even more painful. Mrs Shiney put an iodine dressing on it and it was still just as painful this morning.

She has just worked on it, with a needle, and released a lot of stuff and it's a lot less painful. I think it was so painful because the skin under the heel is so hard and thick so the thing couldn't get out. All disinfected and dressed now :blue thumb:.

I spoke to a friend last night who was a scientist and used to own a company that made aids for people with foot problems - especially under the foot. He said, from his experience, that it can take about six months to clear up.

I'm going to do a load of cooking now (guests staying overnight) but something really easy - spag bol. :dbgrtmb: Then pick and bag beans (shouldn't take more than a couple of hours), ready for sale.

I'm not quite dancing yet but I've stopped walking on my toes. :heehee:

Thanks, all of you, for your concern. :wub2:
