    Some lovely thunder and lightning for a couple of hours last night and a bit of much needed rain. :blue thumb: Sun is shining brightly now.

    Well, the polls were way out as usual - but they weren't quite as inaccurate as weather forecasters :heehee:

          Good evening everyone...Hope everyone is having a good day so far...Its been dull and cloudy day here..Big sigh of relief this morning when i woke up to see the referendum voted NO...My opinion is we are all Better Together...So hope you guys will join me in a wee toast "Better together":ccheers::grphg:

              Good morning everyone,

              Are we all OK?:thumbsup:

              It's Dark out there but the birds are making themselves heard,especially a little Robin,there's a fox barking near by too but the dogs are just listening to him,if it had been a dog they'd have gone mad:rolleyespink:...I'm waiting for it to get light so I can check on Daisy chook as she was looking quite 'tired' last night.I don't want to startle them in the dark,

              Having more top soil delivered today which right at this moment I plan to barrow into a couple of new beds when I get home from work but we'll see,I probably won't have any energy left by the time I get home:doh:

              Time for a quick cuppa before I hit the coal face:coffee:...

                What a peculiar day, weatherwise, yesterday. It was muggy, extremely humid and almost reached 30C by mid afternoon without any sun. Thunder and lightning was all around us but we had no rain, unlike a lot of the areas around us that got flooded. The rumblings of thunder, and the regular flashes of lightning have continued through the night but we only got some rain from 6.20 a.m. to 6.30 a.m.

                I think it will clear up sufficiently for me to serve lunch to the students in the garden - under the covered pergola.

                My foot has been a bit of a nuisance since yesterday (itchy and sore to walk on) but no outbreak of exudations (I don't think that word is quite good enough for Zig's 'word of the day' :snork:).

                Loli, I hope Daisy is OK. We'll be posting a few Nagas to you next week :thumbsup:. I've just picked the first few. They don't have to turn red for them to be ready :heehee: but these I have picked (the lumpy ones on the right) are mostly red (some green underneath). The rest on the plant are still light green.

                I haven't tasted them yet so don't know how hot they are. The heat can vary considerably depending on the growing conditions.

                      Foggy here again, gonna get some prunings shifted before it gets muggy again.

                      Been struggling to get tomatoes ripened this year, didn't even have enough to enter the show, so imagine my delight when BIL nicked nearly all my ripe ones :mad:

                      Revenge may well involve comfrey tea on his car carpets, or a cunningly concealed Squid in his curtain poles.
