      The Dogs aren't much help Kindred:rolleyespink: especially when they want to sit in the barrow full of soil:doh:as if it's not heavy enough already:rolleyespink:...

        I love your idea, and I am sure your garden will become an alluring piece of heaven. People will find your house just by following the scent of roses. :) Your neighbours will surely envy you :)
        As for the pear tree, my advice is to keep it at this point. You will make use of some fresh fruits. :) Pears are a good source of nutrition and fibres, and are an amazing addition to pies. You can combine them with different types of cheese, too.

              Not looking much different but did get the other two beds dug over and filled with top soil,Just need lots of 'muck' adding now.I did attempt to start on barrowing the sand for the paving,only managed one load then gave up before my back did:old:
