      Aloha everyone,

      We got a small amount of rain yesterday :blue thumb: but not enough for what the garden needs. I bought the slabs for the path and some sharp sand and I hope to get the path done tomorrow. Can't do it today as I have a meeting this morning and bridge club this afternoon.

      I also tried to start on the pressure washing but the nozzle isn't working properly so I've got to wait for it to dry out properly before I can try and fix it. It usually means that a piece of grit has got caught in the works but it's almost impossible to sort out. I'll have a go with a piece of wire and if that doesn't work I'll try some washing up liquid.

      The patio hasn't been cleaned since before Open Day and is quite dirty. We have a 'Coffee Morning and Craft Sale' in a couple of weeks so I need to start the cleaning now. The morning is to sell Mrs Shiney's crafts and a percentage goes to Grove Cottage. The last two years have been very successful and we hope this year will be as good. :)

      Zigs, did you do the traditional thing and crack your nuts? :roflol:

          Woo.. Yes another day closer to Spring:blue thumb:that's the way I look at it these days,I do like Autumn and Winter but it's just the days are too short,It was dark at just gone 7pm last night:frown:

          Shiney...I need to do some pressure washing too,since adding some more paving the older ones look really grubby:doh:

          My neck is still niggling but I'm off till the weekend so time for it to get right:thumbsup:

          Daisy has started on a moult :rolleyespink: as if she hasn't gone through enough lately but she's looking good apart from the bald patches:chicken:

              Well, actually they undergo a chemical change that makes them less palatable, but folk liked attributing things to imaginary friends when they couldn't explain things.

                      Good evening everyone...Hope everyone is having a good day so far...Been another gorgeous day here again today...Summer has returned to scotland lol...Well its been a nightmare here in our household tonite..The girls where playing in their room and had talcum powder all over their bedroom...I mean every were...They said they wanted it to be like the movie "Frozen"..Well gonna chill out and relax after tidying up..Enjoy the rest of your evening guys:)

                                We had a little bit of drizzle in the night but the sun is trying to break through now. It's just right for laying the slabs for my path. The dampness will make it easier to cut out the lawn. :blue thumb:

                                I got some pressure hosing done yesterday after fixing the machine. The part I've cleaned makes the rest look awful :doh:. Only another 20 hours, or so, to go! :thud:

                                I've also cut back all the blackberries, picked (and sold) 50lb of cookers and remade the cover for the propagator (metal hoops and plastic to drape over them) ready for any cold nights that they say we may get at the weekend.
