Irish Peat coming back in 2015

      great news I think @ARMANDII said last year in a post they burn more in Ireland than export
      and how un green is that !!!

        Yes, and it's still true that the Irish Government is "harvesting" around 4 million cubic metres of peat every year for it's Power Stations and only a very small percentage is used for agricultural purposes.
        It's easier for the "Greens" to target and chastise the Gardener for using Peat in gardening than persuading the Irish Government to stop burning vast amounts of Peat. Also there aren't many professional gardeners, including the TV personalities, who actually think that a satisfactory peat free compost has been made and marketed at the present time.:dunno::snork:
