Hi Everyone, I think this second lot of antibiotics may be beginning to take effect as I have felt much better today although still have the pain underneath my right shoulder and on my breast plate.

Moyra...That is marvellous news I'm so pleased you're feeling a bit better here's hoping a couple more days of the AB's and you'll be well and truly back on form

Shiney...I suppose it would be difficult to sort a generator out but they could certainly do to be more prepared should it happen again.The fish and chips always goes down well and on occasion we've scanned and printed out mock news papers to wrap them in to make it more authentic seen as news papers aren't allowed these days from the chippy

Had the neighbours round for a little soiree last night which was fun apart from me yawning my brains out It was interesting listening to the local gossip,how people find out all these things I'll never know

Mr Loli's Christmas bash tonight so it's going to be another busy one,I'm sure with a couple of Whiskeys down me I'll get my second wind

Loli, I hope you OH will be home earlier than my Steve last night. Went out to his Darts Team dinner on Canvey Island. Said he would be home around 12.30. Come quarter to three I am worried sick, you hear so many horrible stabbings and things going on. Also he has had several friends have heart attacks and died at his age. I have to admit I prayed hard that he would be safe and come in soon and sure enough within 5 minutes he came in. He and a couple of the younger lads had gone onto Basildon Town Centre. Had difficulty getting a taxi home but was so shocked to see the time when he saw his clock in his bedroom, he thought it was about 1.30!! To think he is 51 and a whole lot more worry than he was as a teenager!

Ha, ha you're joking AB. Tomorrow is hard core shopping day :santa sleigh:(well as hard core as you can get in Eastbourne ) and after that anything that's not bought we'll do without, apart from the fresh fruit and veggies etc I'll get when I'm back home.
